It’s a wrap! The 2011 Shop.org Annual Summit was met with much anticipation as the largest online and multi-channel retailers gathered to hear the latest in ecommerce brilliance, network with the industry elite, and get a glimpse on what technology solutions are adding the most revenue and efficiency to bottom line performance.
Top trends in mobile, social, email, search, and personalization were the highlights of most conversations on the expo floor with many best practices discussed during the conference breakout session. Our CEO, Meyar Sheik, hosted a Big !dea presentation with client Sport Chalet’s VP eCommerce, Peter Taylor. Peter shared how home page recommendations in the form of top sellers are a key method for driving customer engagement and facilitate the discovery of new products. He added that curating merchandising strategies on the fly provide valuable insight to which business rules are optimized and adding the most revenue lift.
