Meyar Sheik, CEO & Co-founder

Prior to co-founding Certona, Meyar was the CMO and COO of web analytics leader, WebSideStory (now part of Omniture/Adobe). Before joining WebSideStory, Meyar was the Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Strategic Alliances for the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software vendor SuperNova, Inc., Earlier in his career, Meyar held senior sales management positions in Analytics and Security software products companies.

Since co-founding Certona in 2004, Meyar and the Certona team of predictive analytics experts have been focused on applying Certona's innovative, real-time behavioral targeting, optimization and adaptive personalization technologies to generate more revenue and higher conversion rates for online retailers and other multi-channel businesses.

Meyar has a BS in Electrical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Geoffrey Hueter, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

Prior to founding Certona, Dr. Hueter was the president of Far Point Technology, which provided software design and development services.

Before joining Far Point, Dr. Hueter was a staff scientist and director of automated inspection at HNC Software, Inc., where he managed the development and commercialization of QualityPlus™, an intelligent machine vision system. Dr. Hueter also managed several other analytics projects, including several Department of Defense Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs for neural network control systems.

While at UCSD, Dr. Hueter studied neural networks with industry pioneers Robert Hecht-Nielsen and Bart Kosko. Dr. Hueter is the author of over a dozen papers on astrophysics, neural networks, and numerical modeling.

Michael Shea, Vice President of Sales

Prior to joining Certona, Mike was vice president at enterprise marketing management leader Unica Corporation and at MarketLive Inc., a leading e-commerce platform provider.

In 2003, Mike joined Salesforce.com as one of the first Regional Vice Presidents in the field. There he spent over 3 years building and managing the Northeast/Canada General Business Region. Under Mike's leadership, his sales team quadrupled in size and his business unit grew into one of the company's most consistent monthly producers.

Prior to Salesforce.com, Mike served 4 years each at Clarify and Sybase. At Clarify, Mike held several management positions including Regional Sales Director of the Northeast/Canada region where he tripled the size of his organization. In 1998 as a Branch Manager, Mike was named Clarify’s Most Valuable Player in sales, a title choosen by his peers and team members.
