Certona Dominates Shop.org and Shoptalk Europe

It’s been a busy couple of months here at Certona as we’ve traveled the world exhibiting at leading conferences, making new connections and most importantly, spending time with clients!

Starting in September, we headed to downtown Los Angeles, CA as the Chairman sponsor of Shop.org 2017. The event attracted over 3,500 retail professionals and was jam-packed with educational sessions, exciting keynote presentations and of course, Certona’s Tech Talk speaking sessions.

We had many great conversations at Shop.org, but one prevailing theme was the topic of artificial intelligence. What exactly is it? How do we take advantage of it? AI is an exciting concept for retailers as they go through these transformational times. Many faced with the challenge of reinventing their image and optimizing business channels and customer experiences.

Next up on our world tour was Shoptalk Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark. A new event for the European market which drew over 2,000 attendees from across the world. The Shoptalk Europe experience included a robust agenda, renowned speakers (including many Certona clients) and great networking events.

The city of Copenhagen was a perfect backdrop for Shoptalk Europe, literally bringing the outdoors, inside with living walls and impressive architecture. It was a fun atmosphere for mixing and mingling.

Once again, we found ourselves having interesting conversations around improving the customer experience. Delivering a personalized shopping journey is the essential element to converting shoppers, increasing basket size and enhancing customer lifetime value.

Understanding personalization is one thing, but choosing the right personalization partner is another. We often heard, “everyone is saying the same thing. How are you different?” So, here’s our answer.
